We pulled into the desolate parking lot. The checkered canopy resembled something pillaged from a big boys graveyard. As we walked in, however, things took a turn for the better. There was a pleasant breakfasty aura about the place, and that's exactly what we were looking for. The hostess tried to seat us in a shitty spot, but we resisted. The hostess was kind of a bitch, but I think that was just her way of flirting. Our waitress, Candice, was really nice. She didn't know what a triple triple was, but that's ok. A group of church people thought we were One Direction. We told them that we, in fact, were. They took pictures of us. It was pretty classic. Who knew Zane Malik fancies steak and eggs? I ordered the irish omelet, cuz I'm irish :) Two different girls brought out our food at the same time. We are so boss. The one chick had a nice teezo, high and tight. The food was good. One of the boyz complained that the toast was pre buttered, and they brought out more toast without butter. That meal certainly cured our hangovers. It was quite glorious. Overall the service was pretty accommodating, they were nice to us and they liked us. I don't think we really have any complaints. Don't try to go out through the entrance, that doesn't work out too well. The boyz give toast 4 stars. Overall it was a successful Sunday.

It's such a cute name! But there's no good food or service to back it up. As soon as you walk in, you will notice that it is obviously and old Big Boy. Unfortunately, the food isn't quite as good as Big Boy (and if you read my reviews you'll know I'm not a Big Boy fan), and neither is the service.

I love a challenge after reading the review.. So, me my nephew give them a try. We got the breakfast bar. It's was a good price. The was getting packed, music was playing in the background. Staff was very friendly. Will have too check out the dinners.

As we walk in I see no one under 67 ok baaaaad sign! Yet we are starving so we stay. We order omelette and my son orders pancakes. As my son is eating he pulls out a piece of wire & says mom why is this in my food? We stop eating- we were almost done anyway-I tell the waitress- her response was "I'm sorry the manager isn't here." Then she says I'm sorry. Thanks my son could've cut his throat open or tore his stomach up & you say again...I'm sorry the manager isn't here. Maybe she could've taken my name & number and have the manager call me? Just a thought. Needless to say it doesn't matter. I'll never return & wish I could give this place 10 negative stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointing. Not much to choose from on the salad bar. No meats. And the lentil and chicken noodle soups were both tasteless. Overpriced for a meal that was less than mediocre. I won't be back.

Service is horrible, and the food is not that good... Been there a few times thinking it was just a first time bad experience, but after going there a couple more times it was same thing nothing diffrent. I would like too them change how they do things for the better. It is family owned and operated, but I know they can do better.

I have been to this place twice since it opened, and it has been a major disappointment both times. The first time I went was with my dad on a weekday at 9:30 AM. We both got eggs Benedict. The ham felt and tasted like cheap lunch meat; and the eggs were prepared over medium (in case you don't know how eggs Benedict are supposed to be prepared, they are supposed to be poached, not fried.). Our server left us alone. The second time I went was this afternoon with my girlfriend and her dad and we had the same server. After looking over the menu, our server came around to take our drink orders. My girlfriend's dad commented on how expensive some menu items were, and that it was no wonder he hasn't come back here. A burger cost $5.99, and a side of fries and a drink cost $2.99. He told her how you could get a big gourmet burger and fries from Red Robin for that price. Our server's reply: "sorry we don't have a drive-thru window." There goes your tip. So he left. My girlfriend ordered the French toast and a side of bacon, and I ordered multi grain pancakes. My pancakes were okay, but the fruit was warm on the outside and frozen on the middle. The French toast tasted like cardboard, not to mention they only gave her two pieces! The side of bacon (4 strips) was 2.49. For the quality of the food and service, Toast is extremely overpriced. I do not plan to ever go back, so don't waste your time or money here.

If I had read the other reviews I would not have went here, but I went in blindly to meet friends. It is a former Big Boy and everything on the menu is Big Boy stuff with a different name. I had the Big Boy..er, Toast Tower burger and it was ok. The waitress was real friendly. In fact,, finding out that they did not serve Coke products, I asked for a Cherry Pepsi. They did not have Cherry Pepsi but she offered to make me a custom made Cherry Pepsi, which she did and was better than the ones I normally get. Lots of Church people in here, well, it was a Sunday Night. Nothing great but it was ok for a quick bite or dessert. They seemed to have stopped serving food poisoning.

Avoid. Keep driving. Don't look back. I drive by this place fairly often on my way to and from work and last night my boyfriend and I decided to stop in and give it a try. Before going in, I looked it up here on Yelp on my phone. No reviews. Hmmm. I surveyed the parking lot. Nearly empty. Hmmm. Look at the clock, 7pm. Hmm. Interesting. We decided to brave it and figured it wouldn't be amazing but that it would be a good enough place to just try and maybe be surprised. Nope. We walk in and the place is deathly quiet. There wasn't any music playing or anything so there was literally silence. There were two older couples sitting and enjoying the salad and soup bar but didn't appear to have ordered anything off the menu. The girl who sat us did so without saying a word or even flashing a smile. She was also our waitress, oh boy! We ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. Came off as kind of a Big Boys ripoff. Nothing special really but a full menu to choose from. My boyfriend ordered their Toast Tower burger, which the menu said came with a "special sauce" he asked if he could have the sauce on the side. "The thousand island dressing?", the waitress asked. Well, that sauce doesn't sound so special. Maybe she meant it was the sauce of a thousand sacred islands. Yeah, that's the ticket. I order the lumberjack potato pancake and a side of hash browns. Why did I get hash browns and a potato pancake? I wasn't thinking. But I knew my boyfriend would eat the hash browns instead of helping himself, uninvited, to my potato pancake so it worked itself out. The waitress then told the cook he had an order and then he argued with her about what we ordered for like 5 minutes, we were merely 10 ft from this happening, and with the quietness that surrounded us we could hear it all. Unprofessional. Our food was brought out by a much friendlier older woman who was very nice. The food was mediocre at best. My lumberjack potato pancake was severely lacking in it's lumberjack-ness and my boyfriend didn't get his sauce-of-a-thousand-islands on the side, as asked. Our total was 20 bucks and some change which seemed expensive for what we had. Not worth it at all.

If you're looking for basic American food fare, come down to Toast, where the grease is always flowing out of your food, and the menu is basic and easy. Look, I won't beat around the bush here: this place gave me food poisoning. All I had was a simple breakfast of biscuits and gravy with eggs and ham, and now I'm running to the toilet every so often. I've eaten here before though, and on those occasions my stomach fared better. But regardless of food poisoning or not, the food here is pretty basic. Think Big Boy. Hell, it used to BE a Big Boy before it became Toast. Now it's just serving up the same basic food with a slight twist to it. I don't know, maybe one day I'll go back and be impressed and say to myself "I have to get this again, it was SOOOO good!" But honestly I don't forsee that happening in the near future. A quick note before I let you go: never EVER get the ham steaks with your breakfast. I did that once and all I got was overcooked ham with a ring of fat an inch wide around it. I think I got maybe two bites out of each ham steak after I pulled the fat off and cut the meat from the bone.
